Done Part II

It's been an emotional week. We said Bon Voyage to Anissa who was our au pair for one year as she returned back to France. I think these pics pretty much speak for themselves. Man are we going to miss her!








Another Father's Day came and went...





A quick visit with our cousins in NY...



A dear friend Graduated from High School...


For our boys, school has ended. With a few tears I sorted the papers and reports into what to toss and what to save...


And another pair of sneakers has seen their day...


Ahhh lots of good-byes yes, but are we ready for summer?

Done Part I

Well it's here again. The time to transition into summer after a long school year. Hold on did I just say "summer?" I must have blinked and missed the last 8 months. The end of the school year was just so crazy busy, full of all good stuff yes but no time for blogging. Can't wait to catch up on everyone's life stories.
So, in between planning summer camps and classes for three kids, buying teacher gifts and chaperoning field trips, here is what else has been going on for the last 3 weeks...(warning lots of pics!)

Luca turned 6...





Had a ball at field day...



Finished the lacrosse season...



and graduated kindergarten...sniff sniff...






We had a visit with Nonna and Bis Nonna who turned a lovely 91 years young...





A trip to Monticello and University of Virginia with Lance's class...



Then an end of year carnival...



What a bummer to loose the semi finals...



but still so proud of how far he's come.

Whew, you san see why I've been total slacker blogger! Hope everyone who is also wrapping up the year on fast forward is taking it all in.
